HackersCurator was conceptualized by Nandemoguy in mid 2017 after his passion for Hackers was reignited by a screening that took place at an Alamo Drafthouse in Denver. Inspired as he was, and being an active 'Youtuber' at the time, he posted a pager recreation video on his personal channel as Nandemoguy.
Teenprez, considered the co-founder of the page, commented on this video, and conversations started between them about making a larger, dedicated, more public space for the cult fanbase of this film to feed their demand for content that was so utterly lacking online.
On Valentines Day, 2018, HackersCurator.com was launched.
Not long after the launch of the page, PissyKitten came along with a passion to help the page grow and the rest is history.
